BENEFITS : Zep RECIRCULATING DETERGENT is formulated for use in hot vat or recirculating spray wash cabinets. It consists of a special powdered blend of buffered alkalies, soil suspending agents, low foam detergents, and emulsifiers. It is an excellent performer where low foam is a necessity, as in recirculating spray wash units. It may be used on all metals including aluminum, zinc, and babbit for the removal of grease, grime and similar automotive type soils. It quickly removes soils from alternators, starters, carburetors, etc., without damage to machined surfaces. Zep RECIRCULATING DETERGENT may also be used to clean ferrous metals such as motor heads, engine blocks, etc.

• Biodegradable • Contains only biodegradable detergents and emulsifiers. Non-caustic formula requires little, if any, neutralization prior to discharge.
NOTE: May darken magnesium alloys, particularly at high concentrations or after prolonged exposures.

For use in hot vat or recirculating spray wash units. Designed to
remove grease, oil, and dirt from alternators, starters, carburetors, and
other parts constructed of aluminum, zinc, their alloys, and babbitt
metals.
DIRECTIONS:
HOT VAT: Add 1-2 ounces (1/16-1/8 pound) of compound per gallon
of water in the vat. Operating temperatures must not exceed 160°F
(70°C) and soak time must not exceed 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly
by soak or spray.
SPRAY CABINET (with rinse): Preheat water to 140°F (59°C). Turn
on circulation pump and slowly add 1-2 ounces (1/16-1/8 pound) of
compound per gallon of water in system. Washing temperature must
not exceed 160°F (70°C). Rinse temperature can be higher for faster
drying. The cleaning time must not exceed 30 minutes. Operate
according to equipment manufacturer’s instructions.
POWER SPRAY CABINET (no rinse): Preheat water to 140°F
(59°C). Turn on circulation pump and slowly add 1-2 ounces (1/16-1/8
pound) of compound per gallon of water in system. Operating
temperatures must not exceed 160°F (70°C) and cleaning time must
not exceed 30 minutes.
MAINTENANCE: Check the concentration of the solution with Zep
TK-10 Test Kit and add sufficient powder to restore solution to original
concentration.
